About Us

Our cabin Lina-Marija is built entirely of wood and crafted with love. We offer true relaxation, away from tourist villages, welcoming those who seek nature, rural idyll, adventure, and relaxation. Depending on the weather, the house offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and pine forests that will soothe your soul. Sunrises and sunsets can be experienced from the house. Within a 100 km radius, there are beautiful natural areas and interesting sights. And of course, winter sports at the nearby Zlatibor.

The village is in front of us – behind us begins the path into the wilderness. After a one-hour hike to the mountain peak, you will be rewarded, in mostly good weather, with a stunning panoramic view of the Dinaric Alps Zlatibor and Tara National Park, extending to Ovčar and Kablara, which can also be enjoyed from the house. The misty river that forms intermittently on the plateau depending on the weather, and then cascades down into the valley before our eyes, is also unforgettable when viewed from the mountain.

Where Are We Located?

Surrounded by beautiful nature reserves in the midst of picturesque landscapes, we are centrally located, just 2 km from the main traffic connection between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia, and the Branešci railway station, which is on the railway line between Belgrade and Podgorica.

Nearby are also well-known places like Višegrad, 50 km away, in the historically rich Bosnia and Herzegovina, home to the stunning "Bridge over the Drina," which inspired author Ivo Andrić to write his namesake novel, for which he received the Nobel Prize in Literature.

The nature reserves Tara, Zlatibor, and Mokra Gora are also easily accessible within less than 50 kilometers.

Lina-Marija cabin is a true paradise for lovers of pristine nature, hiking, and tranquility. It is located in untouched nature, yet still easily accessible. The cabin is surrounded by fragrant coniferous forest and overlooks meadows, offering complete peace and a deep connection with nature. We especially enjoyed long walks and hikes — the trails start directly from the house’s yard, are easily accessible, and lead through diverse landscapes (along a stream, across bare hills, and through fragrant coniferous woods. You might encounter horses, as well as various wild and domestic animals.

Beautiful surroundings, at a very short distance from the center of Zlatibor, provide an authentic mountain experience. An extremely professional host, everything was clean and just as agreed. Recommendation.

The place is magical, wonderful, and looks much, much better than you can see in the photos. The surroundings are beautiful, and the interior is very cozy. I usually rent accommodation just to spend the night and continue my adventure, as was the case this time. But the place is so peaceful and lovely that I’m sure we’ll come back for a longer stay just to enjoy it. Thanks to Radovan and his wife for such a great place to stay.

A very comfortable, modern house in a remote location — surrounded by peace, quiet, and harmony with nature. The house had everything needed for everyday life. Everything — the house itself, the dishes, the linens — was clean and fresh. The internet worked perfectly. In short, everything needed for a comfortable stay was there. But honestly, even if there had been nothing at all, this place is so healing, so peaceful and beautiful, that everything else fades into the background. I especially want to mention the hosts. Radovan and Helga are incredibly kind, open, and warm-hearted people. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here — this is truly a special place.
